Dr. Todd H. Lanman, founder of Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery and ADR Spine, presented the first public results from the Synergy Disc® 1-Level IDE Clinical Trial at DOCS Health’s 7th Annual Spine Arthroplasty Summit in Beverly Hills.
The multicenter study of 175 patients demonstrated that the Synergy Disc® achieved statistically significant improvements in pain and function at 24 months compared to fusion surgery (ACDF). Designed to restore motion and alignment, the Synergy Disc® represents a major advancement in motion-preserving spine technology.
The findings, later featured in Becker’s Spine Review, highlight the potential of this device to improve outcomes and reduce the need for fusion procedures. FDA approval is anticipated in 2026.
