About Dr. Todd Lanman

Dr. Lanman, founder and creator of the ADR Spine Top Doctors program, is Hollywood’s go-to Spinal Neurosurgeon, with a legacy treating many A-list film and TV talent, legendary musicians, other expert luminaries, and top C-suite executives. His 30-year track record has seen many patients travel the globe to seek out his sophisticated professional care.

As a leading innovator in medicine, a media educator and contributor, Dr. Lanman has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on topics relating to neurological conditions. He has presented a myriad of papers at national and regional medical society meetings, and he is often sought out as the principal investigator for various clinical trials on motion preserving surgeries.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), Dr. Lanman earned his M.D. at Chicago’s Northwestern University in 1983 with top honors, and went on to complete his residency in Neurological Surgery at University of California at Los Angeles in 1989. He has since led his own spinal neurosurgery practice in the heart of Beverly Hills, which is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Spine, UCLA Medical Center and Surgery Center of Beverly Hills.

Dr. Lanman remains at the forefront of technological advancement, particularly in the development of artificial disc replacement devices, most recently the Prestige LP and M6, and Restorative Motion Surgery™. He has also remained an associate clinical professor at UCLA for the past 20 years.

Dr. Lanman’s firsthand experience undergoing eleven spine surgeries – four cervical, seven lumbar – fuels his devotion for helping others to live pain-free with restored mobility. Dr. Lanman lives and breathes his proprietary 4D Health™ Process, changing his own approach to holistic health, and seeks to help patients rethink their own.

When recommending treatment, Dr. Todd H. Lanman takes a holistic approach, ensuring one’s age, daily lifestyle, nutrition, hormone status, physical exercise routine, and of course spine and joint health are considered, to present a more comprehensive picture of one’s health from a four-dimensional perspective.

His innovative philosophy goes well beyond the standard three-dimensional approach to incorporate all facets of one’s daily livelihood to map out an entire preventative and forward-thinking approach to aging management to ensure all of his patients live an active, healthy and pain-free life as they continue to age.

Reviews

“4 years later, I am still forever grateful to Dr. Lanman and his team. I am still thriving thanks to the innovation of the M6 disc and my genius doctor. I am still forever grateful to be able to move my neck from side to side, up and down, all around, to be able to pick up my grandson, pick up my dogs, to exercise all while enjoying what life has to offer.”

– Cheryl C.

“After three cervical spine surgeries, I never thought it possible that my neck could be permanently fixed, especially after multi-level spinal fusions. You pushed the envelope tenfold and it was successful. You had no doubt that you could repair my mobility and you have. You have restored my faith in so many ways.”

– Barbara H.

“I’m sure you always hear how much you have made a difference in the quality of living after helping so many people, so you are going to hear it one more time from me. Thank you for everything and for being so sweet, patient and giving of yourself!”
