Dr. Ehsan Jazini

Board Certified Spine Surgeon

Dr. Jazini’s drive to be a spine surgeon stems from a personal experience following a car accident in which his brother sustained multiple injuries, including spinal fractures and scoliosis. This traumatic event motivated Dr. Jazini to dedicate his life to improving the field of spine care and providing patients with the solutions they deserve. He treats patients as his own family and guides them to make decisions that will restore their quality of life.

With dual training in orthopedic spine surgery and neurosurgery from leading medical institutions, his first recommendation most times is a non-surgical approach. In fact, 90% of his patients improve their quality of life without surgery. He has an innovative approach to non-operative treatment which includes natural regenerative medicine (stem cell therapy and PRP) to naturally use the patient’s own body to heal itself.

Dr. Jazini’s reputation for providing the most customized treatment options has proven to elevate his patient outcomes. He was the first in the nation and some instances, the world to perform advanced surgical techniques in cervical and lumbar disc replacement, augmented reality (AR) spine surgery, and robotic spine surgery. He performs these advanced surgeries using modern technology which improves operative control and patient safety and makes surgery less invasive for patients.

His care for his patients does not end in the operating room. Through research and the development of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), Dr. Jazini has instituted a national spine surgery recovery protocol. This is a breakthrough that reduces hospital stays, minimizes the need for post-surgical medication, and has led to faster and safer recovery — getting patients back to their active lives.

Dr. Jazini currently serves on the National Research Advisory Board and the Surgeon Leader Group for HCA Healthcare, the largest hospital system in the United States. He also served as an assistant professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine and travels internationally to present research and teach other surgeons.
