He has since led his own spinal neurosurgery practice in the heart of Beverly Hills, which is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center and Surgery Center of Beverly Hills.

Dr. Lanman remains at the forefront of technological advancement, particularly in the development of artificial disc replacement devices, most recently the Prestige LP and M6, and Restorative Motion Surgery™. He has also remained an associate clinical professor at UCLA for the past 20 years.
